DTEK Renewables restored 50% of the Tryfonivska SPP capacity

DTEK Renewables continues to actively restore the Tryfonivska solar power plant due to its damage by the russian military. The solar farm can currently generate 5 MW of electric, which is half of its installed capacity of 10 MW.

Every day, the company's specialists dismantle solar panels damaged by shelling, complect and assemble the working panels, and also repair and update non-working energy equipment.

At the same time, the solar power plant still has network restrictions on output power in the amount of 2 MW. This is due to the need to complete repair works at the power generation substation by Khersonoblenergo. To speed up this process, DTEK specialists offered their help to the company, and it is possible that the problem will be solved by joint efforts.

"We expect to ensure the operation of the Tryfonivska SPP with a capacity of 7 MW by May. By that time, we also plan to complete the necessary repair work with Khersonoblenergo specialists so that the solar farm would not have any technical restrictions in supplying electricity to the network. Our task is to ensure that the country and consumers receive more green electricity in the face of the enemy's energy terror," said Oleksandr Selyshchev, CEO of DTEK Renewables.

After the deoccupation in October 2022, Tryfonivska SPP resumed electric power generation in December and since then has generated 335.4 thousand kWh of electricity for the needs of Ukraine.
