Tryfonivka Energy, a subsidiary of DTEK RENEWABLES that includes Tryfonivska Solar Power Plant (SPP), appealed to NERC to obtain licenses for power generation and a “green” tariff.

Yesterday, the State Architectural and Construction Inspection (SACI) registered a readiness statement on operation of 9.99 MW Tryfonivska SPP in Kherson Region. To date, construction works at power plant site have been completed: all 37,000 solar panels by JA Solar and 185 ABB power inverters manufactured in Italy have been installed.

Annually, the SPP will generate 11-12 million kWh of “green” energy and will be able to provide electric power to fifteen villages in Velyka Oleksandrivka District of Kherson Region.
