Keeping pulse on the needs of Ukrainian soldiers, DTEK Renewables company purchased and handed to the "Svitli Spravy" charity foundation over two thousand units of protection repellents against mosquitoes, ticks and other insects. The repellents are intended for the military people of the Mykolaiv region.
Thus, at the end of July, the charitable foundation received from DTEK Renewables special aerosols, sprays and spirals against flying insects and ticks, as well as a batch of gel after mosquito bites.
"Our soldiers face danger every day, besides, the conditions of being on the front lines are far from comfortable. We all know how annoying mosquitoes can be in the summer, especially in damp trenches or near water. In addition, insect bites can be dangerous for human health. We hope that the support of soldiers defending Mykolaiv region and the south of Ukraine with repellents will at least make their living conditions a little easier and protect them from the unpleasant consequences of insect bites," said Oleg Solovei, director of DTEK Tyligulska WPP.
Reminding that DTEK Renewables helped purchase and install a small solar power plant that provides one of the military units of Ukraine with autonomous power supply and heating.
A week earlier, DTEK Renewables and the "Saving Lives" project delivered another large batch of stewed meat, cereals and condensed milk for the least protected residents and displaced people of Mykolaiv. The charity fund "Svitli Spravy" is responsible for the distribution of the humanitarian aid provided.
