During several days in February 2023, the CEO of DTEK Renewables Oleksandr Selyshchev visited the company's generating plants. During the visits to DTEK Pokrovska SPP and DTEK Nikopolska SPP, colleagues held meetings with the solar farm teams, discussed urgent issues, inspected generating equipment. The trip to DTEK Tryfonivska SPP, which was recently liberated from the russian invaders, was devoted to discussing the issues of the further restoration of the solar farm operational activity and increasing the power output to the energy system of Ukraine. The company additionally hired three teams of workers to speed up the restoration of the solar power plant in Kherson region that was shelled and robbed by the russians.
"It was a visit of support for our colleagues, live talks and answering the questions they have. We checked the working equipment at Pokrovska and Nikopolska solar farms, the repairing process of Tryfonivska solar farm and its readiness to increase the electricity generation. Our guys do everything possible to make the renewables power plants work at full capacity. They stand together and work hard, far away from their families, so that Ukrainian renewables would survive the wartime and provide green kilowatts to the energy system of our country. I feel very proud of my colleagues and I am very grateful to all the energy professionals of Ukraine, who faithfully perform their work despite all the difficulties and risks," says Oleksandr Selyshchev, CEO of DTEK Renewables.
We will remind you that the DTEK Tryfonivska SPP was under russian occupation for a considerable time and suffered heavy losses of generating equipment as a result of shelling and looting by the occupiers. Currently, the solar farm is gradually resuming its work, the repair processes are ongoing.
