DTEK Renewable participated in 15th European-Ukrainian Energy Day in Vienna. The company was represented by Polina Korchak, Head of Economy and Finance Department.
The event was held on 29th October, and the topic was Building Back Better or Faster: Pursuing the Balance. The main goal was to focus attention on searching for optimal balance between the prompt and quality restoration of Ukraine.
In her speech, Polina Korchak outlined the prospects for the development of the renewable energy market and the company’s immediate plans to implement projects critical to Ukraine’s energy sector, such as the construction of wind farms and energy storage systems.
She also spoke about opportunities to improve the attractiveness of foreign and domestic investment in Ukraine’s renewable energy sector in addition to existing support mechanisms.
In general, DTEK Renewables pointed out the significant potential of Ukraine’s energy sector rebuilding and the interest of investors in this area, which will strengthen the country’s energy security in the medium term.
