There is only one water well in Tryfonivka. It does not cope with the load, so it is not uncommon for the villagers to be without water for a few days. Retrofitting of the second well will solve the problem and ensure uninterrupted water supply for 700 residents of Tryfonivka village.
“The project activities will be completed in early 2018,” said Vira Honcharenko, head of the Tryfonivka village council. “We are glad that a responsible investor has come to our village and is helping us solve the existing social infrastructure problems.”
In August 2017, DTEK Renewables has commissioned the Tryfonivka solar power plant in Velyka Oleksandrivka district of Kherson region. In September, the company has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the district council and the administration, under which it has committed to invest in the reconstruction of the village water supply system.
“DTEK Renewables implements corporate social responsibility programs in all territories where it does business. We strive to make life better in the places where we work,” said Viktoria Syromiatova, Director of DTEK Renewable Energy Business. “This is the first social project that we are implementing in Velyka Oleksandrivka District, and we plan to continue cooperation in the social and economic sphere next year.”
