A representative of the Ukrainian Book of Records registered the achievements of DTEK Renewables’ employees in the construction of Tyligulska wind farm amid war, and presented the relevant diplomas to the team.
The DTEK Renewables team is listed as a record holder in the “Technology for the First Time” category as Tyligulska WPP is the first wind farm constructed during Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine.
The company completed the construction of the 1st stage of the wind farm with 114 MW capacity when the Ukrainian energy infrastructure was shelled by the enemy. The main construction took place during the most severe shelling of the Ukrainian energy infrastructure and blackouts. At that period, almost 300 air raid alarms sounded.
The implementation of such a project as Tyligulska wind farm is a proof of DTEK Renewables' belief in the victory of Ukraine, as well as the contribution of the energy specialists to improving the country's energy security.
The record was set on October 6 next to the first wind turbine, which was installed by the company's employees a year ago, during the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
