On March 20-22, DTEK Renewables took part in the WindEurope 2024, the annual event that took place in Bilbao, Spain. This is one of the largest wind energy events in the world, bringing together leading European companies. This year's event was attended by more than 12 thousand visitors, dozens of conferences and about 500 exhibitors.
"Ukraine is developing its renewable energy sector even in times of war. DTEK Renewables, as the country's leading renewable energy company, continues to develop and build new wind power plants. And, of course, we are looking for new opportunities, new partners, and more investments in Ukraine. I am confident that the numerous meetings and negotiations we held during the event will provide new opportunities," said Oleksandr Selyshchev, CEO of DTEK Renewables.
The conference also included a panel discussion on wind power generation in Ukraine. Traditionally, the session was organized by the Ukrainian Wind Association, and the speakers at the national session were members of the UWEA Board.
"Despite the war, DTEK Renewables does not stop and continues to develop. We want to launch the second stage of Tyligulska wind farm with a capacity of almost 400 MW. We are also developing another 1 GW of wind capacity - Poltavska WPP 650 MW, and other projects that have not been announced yet. And we invite those interested to participate in our projects," emphasized Oleksandr Selyshchev during his speech at the panel discussion.
In total, DTEK Renewables held several dozen meetings and negotiations during WindEurope.
