DTEK Renewables together with Rinat Akhmetov Foundation delivered humanitarian aid to migrants in Mykolayiv region

Koblevo village council received 1,680 food kits as humanitarian aid from the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation. The set includes cereals, pasta, flour, salt, sugar, meat pate, cookies, canned beans and stews. The kits began to be issued in all villages of the Koblevo local community.

The food kits will be distributed within a few days to people who have been forced to leave their homes due to russian military aggression against Ukraine, and who have taken refuge in the villages of the Koblevo local community.

"We all know that Koblevo community is now hosting many migrants from the other settlements affected by russian aggression. Both the community and business united their efforts in order to help these people. With the support of DTEK Renewables, our permanent partner, we have received a large batch of food kits from the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation. Today it is 1680 boxes of stew, cereals, cookies and other products for people" - said Volodymyr Panych, the Head of Koblevo village council.

Berezanka village council, which also accepts a large number of internally displaced persons, will also receive the same food kits.

"We understand that local communities have welcomed more than four thousand migrants. Therefore, DTEK Renewables continues to support Mykolayiv region with everything we can. Today it is another batch of food products from the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation for displaced persons. I really want to believe that peace will come to Ukraine soon and that all the people who were forced to leave will return to their homes”, - said Oleg Solovey, director of DTEK Tiligulskaya WPP.

It should be noted that since February 24, 2022, humanitarian aid from Rinat Akhmetov has reached 3 million people. More than 1.2 million of them were covered by the Foundation, the rest by SCM businesses.

Humanitarian aid is provided under the "Rinat Akhmetov - Saving Lives" program.
