DTEK Renewables continues to support communities in the regions where we operate. As part of the Memorandum of Socio-Economic Cooperation with the Mozolevske Village Council, we’ve implemented another important initiative — replacing windows in the schools of Volia and Mozolevske villages in the Nikopol District, Dnipropetrovsk Region.
“School is more than just a building — it’s a space where the future is shaped. That’s why it’s crucial for children to learn in safe and comfortable conditions. We’re proud to be part of changes that strengthen the community. Social responsibility, for us, isn’t just words — it’s about daily choices to be useful to people,” said Volodymyr Shuliatskyi, Director of DTEK Nikopol Solar Power Plant.
The total investment amounted to UAH 652,000. The project involved the full replacement of 35 window units across two educational institutions — with a focus on the areas where children spend most of their time: the gym, medical office, and hallways.
“We are deeply grateful to the leadership of DTEK Renewables for making this project possible. Thanks to your support, our children will start the new school year in a modernized facility. In such a challenging time, it means a lot to feel the support of those who care about our communities and look ahead to the future. Thank you for your continued partnership,” said Tamara Lytovchenko, Head of the Mozolevske Village Council.
Supporting local communities is not a one-off campaign but a long-term partnership that DTEK Renewables has been building since 2018. Over the years, the company has implemented dozens of initiatives in the villages of Volia, Mozolevske, and Pivdenne — from projects in education and social infrastructure to humanitarian aid during times of crisis.
At a time when the country is going through tremendous challenges, we remain committed to investing in the social sphere. Because we believe that a strong country begins with strong communities — and strong communities grow where there is care, development, and shared purpose.
