At the beginning of December, DTEK Renewables donated more than 4.5 tons of food products to the charity fund "Light Affairs" as part of the humanitarian support to Mykolaiv region. Humanitarian aid was organized within the "Saving Lives" project, which was created by DTEK and Metinvest in coordination with the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation at the beginning of the war. Among the products provided are stewed meat and canned fish, cereals and pasta, sugar, oil, cheese and sausages, condensed milk, tea, coffee and biscuits.
The charity fund will distribute the products between the needs of the military, residents of Mykolaiv and those who temporarily live in Mykolaiv and Mykolaiv region.
"DTEK Renewables over and over again confirms its care for the communities by real actions. During the whole year, we’ve been ordering and purchasing food products, military goods, household items and other goods - everything that Mykolaiv region currently needs. During the winter holidays, I sincerely wish all the people of Mykolaiv and citizens who temporarily live in this heroic region - good health and endurance, family warmth, comfort and the victory to come sooner," commented Oleg Solovey, director of DTEK Tyligulska WPP.
Reminding, that since the beginning of russia's invasion to Ukraine, DTEK Renewables has provided several dozen tranches of humanitarian aid to Mykolaiv region. Among the goods delivered to Mykolaiv, Koblevo and Berezanka local communities are large batches of medicines and food products, building materials for the reconstruction of residential premises, large-capacity water barrels and autonomous water purification systems, electric generators, military trade goods, more than 13,500 liters of fuel and much more.
In total, more than 282,000 Ukrainians have already received aid within the "Saving Lives" humanitarian project. These are food products, hygiene products and medical equipment for hospitals.
