DTEK Renewables continues to provide humanitarian support to communities where the company's enterprises are located. Together with the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation, under the Rinat Akhmetov - Saving Lives program, 3600 humanitarian kits were handed over to the Velykooleksandrivska territorial community. The grocery set contains basic food products such as wheat flour, pasta, groats, stewed meat, meat pate, sugar, salt, canned vegetables and biscuits. Currently, the kits are being distributed to the most needy residents of the community.
"The liberation of part of the Kherson region from russian occupiers was a great news for our company, because the first solar power plant of DTEK Renewables is located on the territory of Velykooleksandrivska community. Currently, we have started working on resuming the operation of the solar farm. Therefore, we gladly provided humanitarian goods to people who survived and endured the occupation despite all the difficulties, and waited for the liberation. Such fortitude and fidelity of Ukrainians to their native land evokes the incredible respect and is an example of unconditional love for Ukraine," says Oleksandr Selyshchev, CEO of DTEK Renewables.
DTEK Tryfonivska SF with an installed capacity of 10 MW has stopped working since the beginning of the occupation of the Kherson region. Now the solar farm is waiting for resumption of operational activity in order to generate electricity for Ukraine.
