DTEK Poltavska Wind Farm Conducts Geological Surveys for its Future Construction

DTEK Poltavska Wind Farm is conducting geological surveys in the Hlobyne community. This is one of the key development milestones in preparation for the future construction of a powerful wind farm on the left bank of Ukraine.

Engineering and geological surveys are aimed at analysing soil composition and studying the geological conditions of the territory. This work is being carried out in the areas where it is planned to erect the foundations for wind turbines, electrical structures and other infrastructure for the Poltavska Wind Farm.

A unique foundation design will be developed for each wind farm facility based on the results of the surveys. This approach will ensure the high quality and timely implementation of the project. The survey results will inform further design work, enable the optimisation of technical solutions and ensure the reliable operation of the future wind farm.

The implementation of Poltavska Wind Farm project will be an important step towards strengthening Ukraine's energy independence and developing renewable energy in the Poltava region.

"At the beginning of the heating season and amid attacks on energy facilities, Ukrainians especially feel the importance of light in their homes. Our task is to create new generating capacity. That is why we must prepare as quickly as possible for the construction of the Poltavska Wind Farm, one of the most crucial energy projects of national significance. We are counting on the support and cooperation of the community to strengthen Ukraine's energy security," said Oleh Solovei, Deputy CEO of DTEK Renewables.
