The DTEK company maintains the priority of the development of green power generation, therefore it continues the development of solar and wind farm projects in European countries. Maksym Timchenko, the CEO of DTEK, stated this in his interview with the "Economichna Pravda" media.
"It was very important for me to hear the position of the president that it is necessary to create a "green" hub in Ukraine for the supply of electricity to the EU and to help Europe move away from the total dependence on Russian energy resources," said Maksym Timchenko.
According to him, the company has all the possibilities to implement this task and therefore will prioritize the construction of "green" power generation.
"In the same strategy (Corporate Strategy of DTEK until 2030), we talked about international development. Then the first plans for our investments abroad were laid. In accordance with this strategy, we continue it," Maksym Timchenko said.
"That is, we implement projects for the construction of wind and solar stations. We want to create an ecosystem of solar and wind stations, including energy storage systems within these projects”, added the CEO of DTEK.
