At the international Ukraine Recovery Conference in Rome, DTEK Renewables presented one of the key energy projects for Ukraine's recovery - DTEK Poltavska Wind Farm.
This large-scale project with a projected capacity of 650 MW will be a vital step towards Ukraine's energy independence and stabilisation of the energy grid, especially in the energy-deficit region of Poltava.
Poltavska Wind Farm has the potential to become one of the most powerful wind farms in Europe. The construction is scheduled to start in Q1 2026, and DTEK Renewables plans to complete the project in a short time.
All key stages of preparation have been completed:
- - Memorandum with Hlobynska community signed,
- - technical specifications received and technical connection agreed,
- - wind monitoring and biodiversity assessment carried out,
- - territorial planning developed,
- - grid connection agreement signed,
- - environmental and social impact assessment completed.
A high level of responsibility and engagement from the Hlobyno community, where the wind farm will be located, is critical to the project's implementation. It is expected that the land acquisition procedures will be completed as soon as possible, which will allow the project to proceed to the construction phase.
The project will be implemented with the participation of international partners in terms of financing and construction. DTEK Renewables invites financial institutions to join the setup of this large-scale generation facility, which will have not only energy but also strategic importance for the future of Ukraine.
As a part of the URC, DTEK Renewables is holding dozens of meetings and negotiations with potential partners. The company is open to new contacts and invites stakeholders to engage in dialogue.
