DTEK Renewables has completed the necessary procedures for the coordination and approval of urban planning documentation at the local level to continue the implementation of Poltavska Wind Power Plant project.
Thus, the company received a positive opinion from the architectural and urban planning council under the Department of Construction, Urban Development and Architecture, Housing and Energy of Poltava Regional State Administration on the Detailed Site Layout (DSL) to construct, operate and maintain the Poltavska Wind Power Plant with an estimated design capacity of 650MW.
The DSL was also agreed upon at public hearings held by Hlobyne Municipal Local Community and approved by Hlobyne Municipal Council.
Based on the developed and approved DSL, the meeting of Hlobyne Municipal Council of 25 April 2024 made a decision to grant DTEK Poltavska WPP the first 120 communal property land plots with an estimated area of 205 hectares for lease.
The company, together with Hlobyne Municipal Council, has already agreed upon and signed land lease agreements and registered the lease right in the State Register of Real Property Rights (SRRP). A package of documents has also been submitted to NPC Ukrenergo to obtain technical specifications to connect the 650 MW of generating capacity to the national operator's grid.
"We are confidently moving forward with the implementation of Poltavska WPP project. Approval of the DSL is another stage necessary to continue the development of the wind farm and receive investments in the project. Among other things, ornithological surveys and wind monitoring are currently underway," commented Oleh Solovei, Deputy CEO of DTEK Renewables.
